Members of Law Enforcement wrapped up another successful Free Our Finest event on June 19th at Cabela’s Calgary , raising over $6,000 for Special Olympics programs in Alberta. Thank you to everyone that organized, participated in and supported this event! A huge shout out to all our FINEST!
The annual Law Enforcement Torch Run 500km Bike Ride for Special Olympics Alberta saw law enforcement officers cycling from Lethbridge, Grande Prairie and Calgary to Edmonton to help raise awareness and funds for people with intellectual disabilities.
Lethbridge Correctional Service, Alberta Sheriffs, Lethbridge Police Service, Animal Services, Blood Tribe Police and Taber Police Service pedaled 500km from Lethbridge. They stopped at Free Our Finest in Calgary on June 17 to meet the Grande Prairie law enforcement members then continued their journey to Free Our Finest in Edmonton South on June 18.
Thank you to all the riders that raised over $30,000 for Special Olympics Alberta programs. A big thank you to those that supported this event as well as the many sponsors.

We want to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone that supported the Harley Davidson raffle for 2016! Thanks to the beautiful weather we had an amazing turnout for the draw that saw new Harleys go to three lucky winners. Over $143,000 was raised for Special Olympics programs in various communities.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Alberta Flame of Hope raffle raises money for sports programs that benefit athletes with intellectual disabilities all over Alberta.
This year the 2016 draw gave ticket holders the opportunity to win one of three Harley bikes and raised more than $145,000 for Special Olympics Alberta.
On Saturday May 28, Special Olympics Alberta held the draw at Harley- Davidson Gasoline Alley in 37 Petrolia Drive, Red Deer with a barbecue. Special Olympics Alberta-Red Deer athletes and the general public witnessed the draw for the winners for the 2016 Harley-Davidson FLHR Road King, 2016 Harley-Davidson FXDB Street Bob, and the 2015 Harley-Davidson Sportster XL883N Iron.
