Free Our Finest Red Deer
Free Our Finest reverses roles where the public must free officers from the rooftop.
Throughout Alberta, law enforcement officers will be camping on rooftops of WalMart for 53 hours all to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics Alberta.
Red Deer will be hosting their Free Our Finest event at the Supercentre Walmart Red Deer North, 6375 50 Ave. from August 24h to 26th.
Come out and enjoy the fun activities and party with our finest and Special Olympics Alberta athletes! Get your face painted or come get your picture taken with an Old West style prison trailer. Check out various law enforcement equipment and displays.

Law Enforcement Torch Run is Special Olympics' largest grass-roots fundraiser and public awareness vehicle internationally. In Alberta, 18 agencies in 117 communities contribute to LETR efforts annually, not only with events, but as Guardians of the Flame ensuring the delivery of the Special Flame of Hope to the opening ceremony of Provincial Games and sending off our local athletes to National and World Games.
